The Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP) in partnership with the South County Triage Group (SCTG), is seeking a dynamic and innovative bilingual leader (English and Spanish) who can lead, facilitate, coordinate and support organizations of the partnership towards a shared commitment to community health, equity, and economic mobility. The SCTG is a collaboration of diverse Community Based Organizations and government agencies including Santa Cruz County, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, and the Pajaro Valley Healthcare District. In partnership with MBEP, SCTG works to improve equity, health, and economic mobility by providing culturally appropriate services for vulnerable and marginalized individuals in the Pajaro Valley. South County Triage Group, (SCTG), launched in 2020 in response to the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Watsonville’s Latino communities. SCTG is a collective of 27 active partners representing healthcare, government, public health, education, emergency food, interpersonal violence prevention and response, behavioral health, other social services, and private companies—the sectors essential to collectively improve community health and wellness. Recognizing the power of collective advocacy, SCTG serves as a transformational convener to address the root causes of health and economic inequities for the region’s populations in need. This effort aims to align systems, priorities, and policies that help partners shift from transactional, program specific approaches to a new norm where participants align local community interests, incubate fresh ideas, expand collective capacity, and alignment that result in greater impact than any one entity could achieve alone. This position will play a critical role in moving forward the priorities of the SCTG Board.
