Maure is driven by a passion for human rights and a commitment to promoting equity for underrepresented and underserved populations. With a Master of International Affairs from UC San Diego, specializing in International Development and Nonprofit Management, she possesses a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in fostering inclusive and sustainable growth and prosperity, and is equipped with the knowledge necessary to drive lasting change. As a Northern California native who lived in San Luis Obispo while attending Cal Poly SLO, Maure is excited to bring her expertise back to the Central Coast and contribute to the economic health and quality of life in the region.
Most recently, Maure consulted for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE), leading a team to evaluate the economic, environmental, and social implications of sustainable heat pump technology deployment. Her work involved developing strategic policy initiatives aligned with California’s carbon-neutral goals and fostering stakeholder consensus on statewide environmental objectives.
Maure has conducted independent research projects for Center for Asia Pacific Strategy, a Washington, D.C. think tank, and crafted actionable policy strategies aimed at promoting peaceful cooperation through mutual economic development and sustainability initiatives. She also gained valuable experience in securing grant funding and supporting regional economic development at the Northern California World Trade Center.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Maure has been deeply involved in volunteering at human rights nonprofits. These experiences have profoundly shaped her understanding of equitable and inclusive development, reinforcing her commitment to advocating for the prosperity of all individuals.
