Regions Rise Together and Uplift Central Coast brought together community leaders from across Monterey County, Santa Cruz, and San Benito to co-create inclusive economic development action plans that position all members of the tri-county region to thrive where they work, live, and play. Your support fuels MBEP’s economic development programs that create jobs, foster entrepreneurship, and provide the training needed for financial independence.

Housing: A home is the foundation for health, stability, and growth. MBEP is committed to providing affordable housing solutions, such as the Monterey Bay Housing Trust, which has funded 1,000 new affordable homes. Your generosity helps us deliver innovative, affordable housing solutions that give hardworking families a safe place to call home.

Broadband Access: In today’s digital age, internet access is as critical as electricity. As the executive director for the Central Coast Broadband Consortium (CCBC) and co- founder of South Salinas Valley Broadband Authority (SSVBA), MBEP works with its partners to secure crucial resources for the region, such as a $45M grant awarded by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to expand broadband on the central coast. Your gift ensures more underserved areas in the tri-county region have access to the technology that connects them to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

Tech Innovation: As we look to the future, MBEP is leveraging technology to drive meaningful change in the tri-county region.
