Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Celeste currently resides in the Monterey, California area, where she has found a deep sense of belonging and purpose. Her passion for language and cultural understanding led her to pursue a master's degree in Translation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She knew that fostering connections among diverse communities was crucial, so she specialized in Intercultural Competence.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Celeste has honed her skills working at several companies in both the United States and Mexico. Since arriving in Monterey, she has actively collaborated with various organizations throughout the county, lending her expertise to support a wide range of projects and initiatives.

As someone who is proud of her Mexican heritage, Celeste deeply values cultural diversity and how it positively affects the relationship between economic growth and community well-being.
