California Climate Investment
Local businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and governments can receive funds to reduce climate pollution through clean transportation, waste prevention, clean air initiatives, affordable housing, active transportation, climate action planning and more.
Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) Loan Fund
The RCAC is a financial resource for rural communities. They provide funds and loans for environmental infrastructure, access to water, and biomass utilization for communities.
Weatherizations Assistance Program
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program reduces energy costs for low-income households by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes, while ensuring their health and safety. The program supports 8,500 jobs and provides weatherization services to approximately 35,000 homes every year using DOE funds.
CLEEN Program: California Lending for Energy and Environmental Needs
The CLEEN Center provides direct public financing to Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals (MUSH borrowers) to help meet the State’s goals for greenhouse gas reduction, water conservation and environmental preservation.
