The RCAC is a financial resource for rural communities. They provide funds and loans for environmental infrastructure, access to water, and biomass utilization for communities.
California FarmLink Loans
California FarmLink provides access to capital for small- and mid-sized farms in California. Many of their borrowers are organic farmers, immigrants, women, and farmers of color. FarmLink make direct loans as well as referrals to alternative sources of financing – all based on the needs of farmers and ranchers.
SBA Environmental Loans & Grants
The United States Small Business Administration has gathered financial resources to pay for energy efficient upgrades to facilities, to finance business’s innovative environmental products and technologies and to support environmentally friendly businesses.
CLEEN Program: California Lending for Energy and Environmental Needs
The CLEEN Center provides direct public financing to Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals (MUSH borrowers) to help meet the State’s goals for greenhouse gas reduction, water conservation and environmental preservation.
The California Public Utilities Commission authorized the California investor-owned utilities to collaborate with certain state agencies in the development of energy efficiency financing programs and to assist in building awareness about them.
